How often answers are checked

The same on every plan: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Gemini and Perplexity weekly, and Claude, Meta Muse Spark and Grok about once a month, for every question you track. Reddit threads are scanned weekly.

Upgrading and changing plans

An upgrade is a higher plan, or the same plan billed yearly instead of monthly. It starts straight away and is charged at the full price of the new plan, with no proration and no credit for the plan you leave. Your old plan is cancelled when the new one starts, so you are never billed for both. Upgrade from Preferences, Plan: the page shows exactly what you will be charged before you go to checkout.

A lower plan, or switching from yearly to monthly, starts when your current period ends. Email [email protected] and we will arrange it. Add-ons are separate subscriptions, and each one ends when you cancel it.

Cancelling and pausing

Cancel or pause from Preferences, Plan, then "Cancel or pause my subscription". We ask why you are leaving (one choice, and a line of your own if you like), because we read every answer.

While a subscription is paused or after it ends, scans, AI checks and drafting stop, and the extension queue is empty.

Articles

Each plan has a monthly article allowance, because every article is researched, written and illustrated for a real cost. Writing a new article or rewriting one counts as one. The allowance renews with your billing month.

Add-ons

Add-ons are available from Starter up, and not on Lite. Each add-on raises one cap when its checkout completes. A community past the plan cap needs a higher plan.

Checkout

Checkout is handled by a secure payment processor. Buyers in regions our default processor cannot serve are routed to another one automatically. A workspace that already has a subscription stays with the processor it started with.
