Heard

The overview, mentions, the three views, and turning a Reddit mention into a draft.

Where mentions come from

Each weekly scan searches Google for your name, your alternate spellings and each competitor, on Reddit and across the web. For your own brand it also looks specifically at X, YouTube, Quora and Hacker News, blogs (Medium, Substack, dev.to), and directories and review sites (Product Hunt, G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, AlternativeTo, There's An AI For That). A result only counts if its title or snippet really names the brand. A company's own website is left out, because its own pages are not mentions. Use the Everywhere row to look at one kind of place at a time.

The overview

The top of Heard shows how much Reddit is talking about you: total mentions (and how many are new this week), how many are worth replying to, high-intent conversations (someone asking a question that names a competitor), and the share of mentions that read positive. Under it, What people say about you is a short plain-words summary, and Learn from competitors lists what Reddit praises and pushes back on for each competitor you track. Both are written weekly after a scan, and only once there are enough mentions to say something real.

Mentions

A Google search snippet or an AI answer that contains your name, an alias, or a competitor becomes a mention. The same model call labels its sentiment: positive, neutral, negative, or unknown.

The three views

Places shows which communities discuss the names and the lean of those mentions.

Turn a mention into a draft

When a mention's URL is a Reddit comment thread and no thread exists for it yet, Reply creates the thread and one draft of kind brand_monitor. It follows the brand-monitor approval switch.

Places

Places lists where the mentions are. Reddit communities are grouped by subreddit. Other sites are grouped by website, with a label such as X, YouTube, Quora, Medium and blogs, Directories and reviews, or News and media. Open any one to see each mention, who it names, and a link to the page. Only Reddit threads can become a draft reply.
