AppearsInCommunities
How community names are proposed, the cap, and when subscribers and weekly posts appear.
How names are proposed
The first-project model call proposes subreddit names and a category for each. Suggest communities asks again and fills the remaining room. Add a community adds one by hand, without the r/ prefix. There is no CSV import.
The cap
Starter holds 10 communities, Growth 30, and Pro 100. A community past the cap needs a higher plan.
How communities are used
Besides the plain question search, each question is also searched scoped to each saved community: <phrase> site:reddit.com/r/<name>. Results still have to be indexed by Google, so very new posts do not show up.
Subscribers and posts in the last 7 days
Each community can show subscribers and posts from the last seven days. A daily job reads each saved name once from Reddit's Data API, and only after Reddit has given written permission for commercial use and the API credentials are set. Until then both columns are blank, and the page does not turn counts into labels. AppearsIn does not show a ban-risk score.
