AppearsIn

Reddit marketing and AI visibility for agencies and consultants

AppearsIn is software that helps a brand get named in AI answers. It finds the Reddit threads that already rank for a buyer's questions, drafts one reply per thread in your voice, and posts it from your own Reddit account after you approve it. It also tracks whether ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Meta Muse Spark name your brand, and where Reddit and the wider web mention you and your competitors.

For agencies and consultants who need to show clients whether AI engines name them and to reply in the Reddit threads behind the answers, AppearsIn is a Reddit reply and AI-visibility tool with unlimited seats and a person approving every reply. Unlike services that post from accounts they manage, replies go out from the client's own account, openly and slowly.

The short answer

Clients now ask whether ChatGPT names them. AppearsIn gives an agency a weekly score, the competitors named instead, the pages cited, and a queue of drafted Reddit replies for each client's project, with unlimited seats so the whole team can work in it. Replies post from the client's own Reddit account, one Chrome profile per account.

What agencies are being asked

The question has changed from "where do we rank on Google" to "are we mentioned when someone asks an AI". A client wants a number, an explanation of who is named instead, and a plan. The numbers are noisy, the engines differ, and the sources that decide the answer are partly Reddit threads that no one on the team is working.

For an agency that is two jobs: measuring across many clients without a spreadsheet for each, and doing the Reddit participation that moves the answers, honestly, under each client's name. Hiring a managed-account service to post for clients trades one problem for another, since the comments are not from the client and the accounts are fragile.

How AppearsIn fits agency work

  • A project per client. Each has its own questions, competitors, communities, voice and drafts.
  • A weekly score you can report. Visibility, share of voice against named competitors, average position, sentiment and the domains cited, for seven engines, with history.
  • Drafts per thread, in the client's voice. Your team edits and approves each one. Nothing posts unreviewed unless you turn on automatic posting, which is capped.
  • Posting from the client's own account. Reddit signs in one account at a time per browser, so each client account gets its own Chrome profile and you press Sync in each.
  • A record. The Proof page lists every comment, its link, score and result, which is the evidence you show a client.
  • Unlimited seats. Account managers, writers and analysts all get in at no extra cost.
  • Ghost posting for articles. Where a client has a Ghost blog, AppearsIn can draft and post the articles it writes from their questions.

It is not a bot network: it does not upvote, send DMs or run extra accounts, and it pauses itself if a client's account is suspended or its comments are being removed.

A workable workflow

  1. Onboard each client. Paste their site, review the proposed questions and competitors with them, and agree the voice. Disclose in every reply that you are connected to the product, as the guides recommend.
  2. Baseline. Run the first scan and share the score, the competitors named and the cited sources as the starting point.
  3. Weekly. Review the new drafts, approve a handful, and check the Proof page. Note what moved in the score.
  4. Monthly. Report visibility, share of voice and the top cited sources, with what you did about each. Re-check the question list.

The tracking guide explains how to read the numbers honestly, including why a single week's movement is often noise.

Plans and limits for agencies

Seats are unlimited on every plan. What scales with clients is projects and Reddit accounts. Growth at $199 a month includes three projects and three Reddit accounts, which covers a small client roster. Pro at $399 a month has unlimited Reddit accounts and three projects, and extra projects are $25 a month each. For a larger roster, or custom limits and a dedicated manager, ask about Enterprise at [email protected]. Each client workspace needs its own plan.

Questions

Can one workspace hold several clients?

Yes, as separate projects. Growth includes three and Pro three, with extra projects at $25 a month each. Seats are unlimited on every plan.

Do replies go out under my agency's name?

No. They go out from the Reddit account connected for that client, which should be the client's own or a real person's, and the reply should disclose the connection to the product.

How do I connect several Reddit accounts?

Reddit signs in one account at a time per browser. Give each client account its own Chrome profile with the extension, sign in to that account and press Sync.

Can I show a client what was posted?

Yes. The Proof page lists every comment sent with its link and score, and Standing shows the account's karma growth.

Does AppearsIn post from managed accounts?

No. It posts only from the account signed in to the browser, which keeps the comments genuinely the client's.
